“Olympus, periphery, essence. An historical map commented on circus in Barcelona”.

Next May 19, within the Night of the Museums, we will make an incursion in the evolution of the contemporary circus, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, and with it in the memory of the circus in Barcelona. An performed colloquium or a colloquial performance in which action, image, memories, requests and questions will be combined to bring the public closer to the circus of nowadays.

The performance will take place at El Born Center of Culture and Memory, where two passes will be held, the first at 8pm and the next at 10pm, and it will include the participation of Los Galindos (Marcel Escolano and Bet Garrell), the Cía En Diciembre (Silvia Capell and Sergio González) and Johnny Torres (artistic director of La Central del Circ).
